Beliefs

Picture
The Bible:    We believe the Holy Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments to be the verbal, plenary, inspired Word of God.  The final authority for faith and life, inerrant in the original writings, infallible and God-breathed.  We use the Authorized Version (KJV) translation of the Bible for our ministries.

God:     We believe in one Triune God, who exists eternally in three persons:  Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.  He is supreme in His being and attributes, and is glorious in His perfection.  He is the Creator and ruler of all.

Jesus Christ:     We believe He is the eternal Son of God, conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, lived a sinless life, died on the cross as the vicarious substitution to redeem sinful man.  He arose the third day according to the Scriptures, ascended to heaven, and presently is seated at the right hand of the Father interceding for believers.  One day He will come again for His own in the clouds.  After the tribulation, He will return with His saints to the earth to establish His kingdom.

Holy Spirit:     We believe He is the third person of the Godhead.  At the moment of one's salvation, He baptizes the repentant sinner into the body of Christ, seals them until the day of redemption, and empowers the believer to live and serve.

Salvation:     We believe it is a gift of God brought to man by grace and received by personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, whose precious blood was shed on Calvary for the forgiveness of our sins.
